A juice fast diet is very popular right now. The diet involves drinking only a special juice designed to give your body the nutrients it needs, without extra calories. The juice is the only thing a person consumes while on the juice fast, besides plenty of water. A person can stay on the juice diet for up to two weeks normally without any adverse side effects. The juice helps cleanse the inside of the body by getting rid of harmful toxins.

Our bodies tend to retain a lot of extra water that we do not need. A diuretic pill helps get rid of the excess water. It is important to drink plenty of water with this type of diet, which may sound silly, but it is important. The water helps flush out the kidneys, making them work even better.
