Are you ready for the big day? Prom is an all-important event and everyone is anxious and yet excited about it. The problem is, all that excitement may cause you to forget a few things along the way. There are many item to remember for prom. The most important one is to have your dress picked out, steamed and ready to go. Keep it someplace safe and protected. Try it on a few days prior to your prom to make sure it still fits well. However, what else needs to be on your checklist of things to do?
One of the best ways to make sure you have everything you need for your prom day is to have everything set out long in advance. This includes all of your clothing, such as your under garments, your stockings and your shoes. You also want to put aside your jewelry and your purse. If you will be applying your own makeup on prom day, you also want to have this picked out and put to the side. All of these small items can easily be forgotten if you do not plan for them in advance.
Be sure you have made all the important phone calls for your big prom day, too. First, make sure that you have schedule a hair appointment at least the day of prom. You may also want to have a prom day a few days or even a few weeks in advance to test out your options in hair styles with your hair stylist. You also want to consider your nail appointments, which are usually done the day before your prom, to keep time available the day of your special day.
There are a few more things you need to think about when it comes to prom planning. For example, do you know what time your date is picking you up? If your prom is not serving you a dinner, where will you and your date go? Does that place require reservations on such a busy day? You also need to make plans for after prom. How will you get home after prom if your date is unable to bring you home? Most importantly, you will want to know what you are doing after prom.
Getting ready for your prom is an all-important event. Give yourself enough time to plan for the big day and you will be happy you did so. This way, if anything has been forgotten, you still have time to make plans for it. Do have fun on this day. In fact, a lot of the fun that has to do with prom is the planning, too!
